Raised air beds are becoming increasingly popular and they have undergone many changes since their inception. Previous air beds consisted of mattresses that were easily inflated, however they would rest just several inches from the floor. Though these inflatable beds provided ease, comfort, and simplicity of use, many people simply didn’t like the idea of sleeping so close to the floor. Now, these beds have been developed. These are lifted or raised higher off of the floor. They still provide the same ease, comfort, and simplicity as other inflatable beds but they do not make people feel as if they are sleeping on the floor.
There are a number of reasons why people prefer them to those that rest close to the floor’s surface. However, the first important reason is that the floor is subjected to cooler air and drafts. It isn’t in the best interest for someone’s health to sleep so close to the floor. This is especially important if you are using air beds to provide sleeping quarters for guests. It’s also important to ensure that your guests are comfortable, and many people simply can’t handle the bending and lifting required getting up off of the floor. If you are providing bedding for an elderly person, the idea of having them sleep on the floor is not appealing to anyone. They solve these problems by providing easily inflatable beds that are portable, convenient, can be stored away and rest high above the ground.
